The 6th annual P²IRC symposium will once again be free to attend online, taking place from October 20-21, 2021.

Hosted by the Global Institute for Food Security (GIFS) at the University of Saskatchewan, the 2021 event is titled The Digital Horizon and features speakers and content focused on the future of digital agriculture and P2IRC. Recorded presentations from a diverse program of speakers will be brought to life with live Q&A sessions with world-renowned experts in their field.

This year will also feature an in-person networking event at the Saskatoon Club on the evening of October 20 (5-8 p.m. CST). The event will feature a recorded panel presentation with Candace Laing, Michelle Nutting and Michael Nemeth from Nutrien on the carbon opportunity in ag, facilitated by GIFS CEO Steven Webb and followed by a Q&A opportunity. Attendees can RSVP for the event via the registration form.

The symposium will also feature the 6th annual P²IRC Student Poster Competition, taking place on a new, hand-crafted online platform with interactive features built in. Attendees will have a chance to wander our virtual halls and discuss with researchers. Details about the poster competition can be found here.
